CCS Awards
College Club Swimming (CCS) is an association of collegiate non-varsity clubs dedicated to supporting camaraderie, friendship and sportsmanship within the swimming community. CCS Regional and National Championship Meets promote competition and honor the hard work of CCS swimmers in the pool. The CCS Advisory Board has recognized a need to honor CCS team and CCS swimmer accomplishments that take place outside championship swim meets.
The CCS Advisory Board has established four awards to highlight leadership skills, friendships developed, and communities built through college club swimming. These awards are:
- CCS Club of The Year Award
- CCS New Club of The Year Award
- CCS Championship Meet Award
- CCS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award

Nominations are due March 1. Award recipients will be selected by the CCS Advisory Board and will be announced at Nationals.

CCS Club of the Year Award
College Club Swimming (CCS) is an association of collegiate non-varsity clubs dedicated to supporting camaraderie, friendship and sportsmanship within the swimming community. Successful CCS clubs develop programs that draw people in, support their swimmers, and set standards for other clubs to follow. Initiated in 2023, this annual award recognizes the efforts of the great clubs that embody these attributes.
Clubs may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Once a club receives this award, that club may not be nominated again for a period of five years.
Club of the Year Award Nomination
Nominations are due by March 1.
CCS New Club of the Year Award
College Club Swimming (CCS) is an association of collegiate non-varsity clubs dedicated to supporting camaraderie, friendship and sportsmanship within the swimming community. Successful CCS clubs develop programs that draw people in, support their swimmers, and set standards for other clubs to follow. New clubs are essential to the mission of CCS as they help expand swimming opportunities for college students. Initiated in 2023, this annual award recognizes the efforts of a club established in the past three years that embodies these attributes.
Clubs may nominate themselves or be nominated by others.
New Club of The Year Award Nomination
Nominations are due by March 1.
CCS Championship Meet Award
This annual award is presented a CCS member who makes significant contributions to CCS Regional or National Championship meets. Initiated in 2023, this award recognizes efforts to assist CCS and meet hosts in providing excellent competitive conditions for championship racing or otherwise contributing to the success of CCS Regional Championships or National Championship competitions. CCS championship meets are primarily student run and this award honors those who go above and beyond to dedicate time to creating memorable meet experiences for the CCS community.
Clubs may nominate themselves or be nominated by others.

CCS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award
The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Award is presented annually. CCS-registered athletes and clubs who show a public commitment to diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and ability at the club, regional, or national level are eligible for this award. Initiated in 2023, this award recognizes individuals or clubs that create a diverse and inclusive environment in CCS, thereby making everyone feel empowered to bring their full, authentic, unique selves to the sport.
